Locum jobs

Band 6 General Radiographer at Isle of Arran

  • Pay rate: up to £ 38-40 Per hour

  • Contract Length: Ongoing

  • Hours: Full time preferred

  • Lone radiographer working with Soliton RIS system and Fuji imaging equipment.

  • Free accommodation

  • Must be a car driver

  • Plain film role for island location.

  • UK/NHS experience

  • HCPC Registration

Mammographers Required

  • Screening Only

  • 1x Required 4 days per week

  • 1x Required 5 days a week (1x full-time locum or split between multiple part-time locums)

  • Start: ASAP - Duration Initially 2 months, with potential extension until September

Role Overview;

To provide high-quality breast screening mammography across multiple sites on a rotational basis. This is screening only, no assessment work. The postholder must be able to work independently and take responsibility when paired with an Assistant Practitioner, including undertaking QA tasks.

Weekdays only - Start: 08:00 or 08:30 - Finish: 16:30 or 17:00 (one Hour lunch)

Rotational Site Coverage -

County Hospital - Fridays only
Demountable Van - Now until May Morley Street
Demountable Van - May onwards Clinical Diagnostic Centre
Mobile Van - Now until end of May Asda Superstore Tunstall
Mobile Van - June onwards Cheadle Hospital

Band 6 Radiographer needed at Kings Mill Hospital site (NG17 4JL).

Mon - Fri 09:00 - 17:00 (or 12:00 - 20:00 following induction) through until August 2026.

ESSENTIAL criteria:

  • MUST HAVE demonstrable recent experience of plain film radiography

  • Theatre/ERCP

  • Minimum of 2 years experience

Potential candidates DESIRABLE criteria:

  • Trained on Philips equipment
